How does the weather on the planet form? How can we predict it? What is the difference between the professions of a meteorologist and a forecaster? Here we study atmospheric phenomena and learn to predict the weather using a barometer.

Let's talk about the temperature on Earth, find out why the seasons change, and have a look at summer and winter in different hemispheres. We will study the water cycle in nature: find out about the formation of clouds, learn about their types, talk about precipitation and learn out how rain, snow, and hail get formed. We’ll talk about atmospheric pressure and see how it affects the weather, we’ll find out how cyclones differ from anticyclones, study weather station and the instruments that help experts in weather research. In the practical part, we will make a barometer, find out how it works, and try to predict weather at home.

Age: 7+
Children younger than the specified age are allowed on the program only when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket.

Tickets refund
When returning ticket online less than two hours before the visit time specified in it, 50% of its full cost is to be refunded. After the beginning of the session, refund is not possible.

Graduated with honours from Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, research area: "Ecology and Environmental Management", and the Moscow State Pedagogical University, research area: "Examination of educational activities". Working experience with children since 2015: Dmitry is conducting ecology, biology and geography classes, participates in the creation of design works on ecology with school children

Artyom Kronshtadskyi

Genetic scientist, plant breeder, biotechnologist

Graduated from the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture of Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. Research area: "Genetics, breeding and biotechnology." Artyom holds a master's degree in the Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. Research interests: breeding, ecology, microbiology.

Iraida Nikulina

Agrochemist

Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology of the Russian State Agrarian University-Moscow Agricultural Academy. K.A. Timiryazev with a degree in Phytotechnologies and Bioproduction Systems. Currently, he continues his postgraduate studies in the direction of "Biological Sciences" under the program "Biochemistry". Research interests: biology, physics, microbiology, agronomy. Iraida believes that the popularization of science paves the way for independent research.

For organized groups

Группа от 10 до 20 человек при единовременном приобретении от 80 билетов – 480 рублей за человека.

Научные программы для организованных групп проводятся по предварительному бронированию;
Организованной считается группа от 10 человек до 20 человек;
Для групп численностью более 20 человек необходимо бронирование на 2 разные параллельные программы с разделением на подгруппы. При этом на каждую из программ группа выкупает не менее 10 билетов;
2 сопровождающих допускаются бесплатно на каждую группу.

*Сопровождающие не являются участниками программы, а обеспечивают соблюдение группой правил поведения и техники безопасности в лаборатории.
*Сопровождающими являются только лица старше 18 лет.
* Сопровождающие несут полную ответственность за участников программы.

Участниками группы являются как дети, так и взрослые (на каждого участника приобретается отдельный билет соответствующей категории). Программы проводятся в научно-познавательном центре, в лабораториях, в каждой из которых 20 или 18 посадочных мест.
