The winter entertainment season in Moscow parks starts on November 22. More than two thousand events have been prepared for Muscovites and guests of the capital: ice shows, theater performances and concerts. This winter more than 1,400 workshops and 80 festivals will take place.
Vyacheslav Dunaev, the director of Mosgorpark, announced this at a press conference in Zaryadye Park.
“At the moment, all 56 territories under the jurisdiction of the Department of Culture are ready for the winter season. We are expecting 40 million visitors in the winter season. There are 38 ice rinks, 62 ski runs, 39 slides and slopes for various sleds prepared for them. At the same time, 18 ice rinks with natural ice and 20 with artificial ice, 12 of which are free of charge,” said Vyacheslav Dunaev.
Ivan Demidov, the director of Zaryadye Park, Pavel Trekhleb, the director of Gorky Park, Andrey Lapshin, the director of Sokolniki Park, and Elizaveta Fokina, the director of Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, spoke about the winter season program.
Zaryadye Park has prepared a diverse New Year program for guests. In December, a large exhibition dedicated to theater will open in Media Center.
“The year of theater ends in Zaryadye park with a large exhibition. For two and a half years, the “Galaktika” production center has been preparing materials for it. Here you will see the entire Russian theater in one shot. A unique photograph, an art object nine by two meters surrounded by portraits of theater stars will appear in our Exhibition Hall,” said Ivan Demidov.
Media Hall will hold performances for children, Nature Center will invite for a scientific show with experiments, and all together we will start the New Year's clock. And that’s not all! We will let you know the details soon, follow the news on our website and in the park’s official social media accounts.
