“Out of two thousand proposals, 349 ideas were selected, and we are ready to implement them. In our opinion and according to experts, these ideas will help to change our city,” said Vyacheslav Dunaev, the director of Mosgorpark.
The urban residents want new knowledge, they are interested in nature and technology. The most popular ideas were tree planting, film screenings, workshops on making feeders, quick dating and free goods fairs. The participants suggested to create a special mobile application with news about parks, and in Zaryadye they would place signs with QR codes and information about the plants.

My Park crowdfunding project was launched by Novye Technology governmental organization and Mosgorpark on the crowdsourcing platform of the Moscow City Government crowd.mos.ru. The project had three stages: “suggest”, “discuss” and “evaluate”. At first, the participants proposed ideas on four topics: “Events in the Parks”, “Activities in the Parks”, “Beautiful Park” and “New in Parks: Online and Offline Services”. At the “discuss” stage, Muscovites participated in the discussions “Entertainment in Moscow Parks”, “Favorite Park” and “World Parks”. This format helped experts to determine the specific preferences of the capital residents. “Evaluate” is the final stage of the project, during which the participants evaluated all the ideas. The ideas that received the biggest support will be implemented.
