You will figure why some species of monkeys in the Miocene began to move along our evolutionary path, how come they once stood on their hind feet, and why modern monkeys do not evolve. We will also compare the food preferences of ancient and modern people and see how nutrition and lifestyle affect the structure of the body and internal organs. In conclusion, we will discuss the origin of primitive art and its social role.
In the practical part, we will study in detail the reconstruction of the skulls and teeth of real museum exhibits, complete several tasks, and play a game to consolidate the gained knowledge.Age: 13+
