Music of various directions sounds on the stage of the Large Hall: from classical to jazz and pieces of modern composers. On the scene of the Small Hall, educational programs, chamber, and interactive concerts, performances, and workshops for children and adults take place. Modern sound and light together with 3D technologies are used in the programs.
By its architectural, technical and acoustic parameters, the multifunctional concert complex Zaryadye has no analogues among other concert venues in Russia. The acoustic system of the halls was developed by Japanese specialist Yasuhisa Toyota, Director of Nagata Acoustics, who designed more than 50 theater and concert venues in the world.
At the beginning of 2020, the installation of a unique instrument, the largest in Moscow organ, and one of the largest in Europe, was completed in the Large Hall. It was designed by the oldest organ-building company Muhleisen (France) specially for Zaryadye Concert Hall, taking into account all the necessary parameters, such as volume, acoustics and architectural features of the hall. In total, 5872 tubes are installed in the organ, and 135 pipes are placed on the facade.
The rows of the stalls in the Large Hall can lift up to 2.5 meters and fold down, turning the auditorium into a flat platform. The transformation of the hall space allows to hold different events: from classical music concerts and opera productions to complex multi-genre projects.
Anyone can see the transforming mechanisms at work: there are sightseeing and technological excursions with access to the backstage space of the hall.
You can see broadcasts of concerts on the web site of the Concert Hall. Recorded broadcasts can be viewed in the archive:
