2 September 2019
Ten main contest short films of the Outdoor Film Festival and the finalist films of the All-Russian short films contest “Opa! The Art of Suddenness" filmed on a mobile phone were screened in Large Amphitheater.
The Outdoor Film Festival is one of the largest film screenings, the winner of which is selected by ordinary people. Having watched the films, the spectators voted for the short film they liked with the light of flashlights and mobile phones. The organizers measured the level of light and determined the national favorite. The winner of the contest is the film "Blank" by Nikita Vlasov.
The Outdoor Film Festival takes place from June 12 to October 1 in more than 1000 cities of Russia. Over a million spectators across the country go to the embankments, squares, and streets of their cities to watch the best short films shot by young directors within the year.
