With love for geography

The competition is for private individuals and organizations whose projects are dedicated to Russia and have been implemented over the past 5 years: it might be results of scientific and field research, educational projects, tourism and nature conservation, popular science films, TV programs, print publications that popularize geography and related sciences.

Application can be submitted on the website of the Russian Geographical Society until June 1, 2020. A description of the nominations, the timing and rules of the competition can be found in the Concept of the Prize or on the website of the Russian Geographical Society.

Film “Russia. Virtual Trip ” is joint project of the Russian Geographical Society and Zaryadye Park. This is a 360 degree film about the nature of our country. The unique video material was collected by professional climbers, pilots, meteorologists and scuba divers. The premiere of the film took place at the festival of the Russian Geographical Society in September 2019 in Zaryadye. After removal of restrictive measures in Moscow, the film will be demonstrated in Media Center again.
