Zaryadye Park celebrates its birthday on September 9. Over the three years, it has been visited by more than 30 million people, it has become one of the favorite vacation spots of Muscovites and guests of the city, and in 2020 it renewed its exhibition area and opened modern spaces where large-scale art projects take place.
This year, 9 exhibitions were held in the park, 3 more expositions are taking place right now. You can get acquainted with art throughout the park: more than 50 works of nominees for the 1 Moscow Art Prize (competition in the field of contemporary art, which is held in five nominations: Fine art and architecture, Cinema, Theater, Music, Literature) are presented at viewpoints, in pavilions and the exhibition hall. On September 10, a new exhibition about the Russian Avant-Garde will be open in Underground Museum within the framework of #three_ project, we are also waiting for you in Northern Underpass, a completely new art space under the Northern Landscapes.
"For the park's birthday, we have completed work on the Zaryadye exhibition area. Underground Museum, the big gallery of Media Center, open areas of the landscape, key places of the pavilions and, of course, Northern Underpass have become a full-fledged part of the exposition map of Moscow this fall. Zaryadye as a space is multi-layered, and now a “cultural layer” has taken root in it. We are glad to see those who make art, and those who are waiting and loving it, on our projects!" the director of the park Ivan Demidov says.
This year of Zaryadye's life was various. However, even in a difficult period of restrictions, those who love the park and are interested in its life were online with us. You have watched our excursions and video performances for the “Faces of War” and #three_fem/theme expositions, Denis Matsuev's anniversary online concert and a two-day broadcast of the Zarya Music Festival, which took place on September 5 and 6 on City Day.
Thank you for coming to us for walks with your family and friends and tagging Zaryadye in your photos. There are many more interesting events ahead!
