Starting as a symbolic lights-off event in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is now the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment, inspiring millions of people to take action for our planet and nature.
Moscow is participating in the event for the 10th time this year and Zaryadye will become its main platform.
On March 24th hundreds of buildings will switch off their lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in solidarity for the planet, urging individuals, businesses and governments worldwide to move forward the conversations and solutions we need to build a healthy, sustainable future for all. Every one of you can support the event by switching off the lights in your home at the set hour.
The celebration will start at 7 p.m. near the Dome in our park. Dominik Joker is coming along with DJs, animators and three creative teams, the winners of Ecological Flashmob 2018.
Since 2007 the movement has grown to engage more than 180 countries and territories worldwide.
