On April 11, at 10:30 AM in the lecture hall of the Nature Center will take place an open discussion with astronaut. At 11:00 at the same place visitors will have an opportunity to take part in teleconference with the Baikonur space center. At 12:00 AM Margarita Levinsky, Doctor of Science and Academic Secretary will introduce a lecture “Plants in space”
. The lecturer will tell about technologies used for growing plants in space and the influence of weightlessness effect on them.
On April 12, at 12:00 and 14:00 PM in the Nature Center Laboratory will take place a workshop “Cosmic Garden”
. The experts of the scientific-educational center will tell about the possibilities of growing plants in space in conditions of limited space and resources. The guests will be able to grow a plant in a test tube and take it with them.
From 12:00 in the Nature Center Hall will be organized a virtual show VR-360 “Space Exploration”. The guests will learn about the history of astronautics and visit the ISS.
In addition, on the same day in the Media Center Hall will take place lectures and open discussions
with the professors of the British Higher School of Design on the influence of passion for space on fashion, architecture, art and industrial design.
