The winners of the Moscow Quality contest were chosen by the city residents. 42 thousand people took part in the voting process. The residents' opinion was analyzed by an expert council consisting of authoritative representatives of the business community.
The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding a competition together with the editors of “Vechernyaya Moskva” with the support of the Moscow City Duma.
“For five years, the Moscow Quality contest has become an authoritative, independent and objective platform for domestic manufacturers. Its main aim is to popularize quality goods and services produced in Russia and sold in Moscow,” said Alexey Shaposhnikov, Moscow City Duma Chairman.
For the first time in the history of the competition, residents of Moscow evaluated the parks of the capital — for the best infrastructure, event and educational program, and landscape. Among the award winners are: Zaryadye Park, Gorky Park, Sokolniki, Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, Izmailovsky and Lianozovsky parks, and The Kuskovo Memorial Estate.
