The military orchestra of the 154th Separate Commandant's Preobrazhensky Regiment was formed on June 1, 2011 on the basis of the 13th Military Orchestra (Military District Headquarters), which has its history since 1940.
That time, based on the orchestra of the 6th Motor-rifle Regiment, the Exemplary Orchestra was created.
The team is proud of their participation in the historical parade on November 7, 1941, and the Victory Parade on June 24, 1945. The musicians also took part in the 22nd Summer Olympics, the 12th World Festival of Youth and Students, as well as in the celebration of Moscow’s 850th anniversary.
In 1995, by the order of the Moscow Government, the orchestra recorded the anthem of the capital of Russia.
