The essence of professions in the film industry is an illusion. The differences are only in the tools by which it is created. In modern cinema, computer graphics are closely related to art direction —remember movies like Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, or Avengers.

Lecturers will tell about the development of computer graphics in the film production, its impact on cinema and on viewers.

We'll discuss:
– what are growth prospects for the profession of the production designer?
– does the appearance of the 3D world destroy the profession or give it new possibilities?
– what are the ways of joint growth?
– how far computer graphics can make progress in film production?

Lecturers:
Denis Geyko, curator of the VFX + Compose Program at Scream School
Addis Gadzhiev, curator of the Artistic Performance Program of the Moscow Film School
