Meeting with Yuri Alexandrov, professor, head of the Laboratory of Psychophysiology named after V.B.Shvyrkov, as part of the popular science project "Gutenberg Smoking Room".

We will discuss how modern data describing the patterns of learning at different levels (neurogenetic, psychological, etc.) change the traditional ideas about its mechanisms. Mentality peculiarities, brain behaviour and learning of people belonging to different cultures (“Western” and “non-Western”) and to different social groups (professional, educational, religious, etc.) within one culture will be compared.
