Roman Lunkin "Soft Power in Religion and Vatican Public Diplomacy"
Roman Lunkin, head of the Center for the Study of Problems of Religion and Society at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, will tell in Zaryadye about the promotion of state interests by the Holy See through intercultural and interreligious interaction.
At a lecture in the frame of Rossica project we will talk about:
the spheres of influence of the Vatican, the current situation in the field of soft power and public diplomacy of the Holy See;
religious diplomacy and religious intercultural interaction, their history and relevance;
interreligious dialogue as a strategy; ecumenical idea and soft power.
