The tenth exhibition of the SOVRISK #onstream — the exposition dedicated to Christmas which includes works by artists participating in the «After the Icon» project.
Tickets are available for purchase only on the website, in the mobile application and via the interactive terminals of the park.
Paintings, objects and NFT-art in the chamber space of the Underground Museum are presented by Sergey Nekrasov, Katie Meladze, Sofia Igoshina and others.
Exhibition curator Anton Belikov: «We often see a child in the arms of the Mother of God on the icons in the church – this moment is important. After all, we are confronted with Christianity in the form of God-child. Therefore, Christianity is not an old religion, it is the New Testament in the truest sense of the word. Within the framework of this approach, the Christmas theme is very important: it is the constant birth of something new, every day, every moment seems to be created from the very beginning. Most people just notice this at Christmas. And the project «After the Icon» is just about creating something new».
«After the Icon» is an open art project dedicated to the search for a new artistic language and new expression in contemporary Christian art.
The tenth exhibition SOVRISK #onstream will last until January 23rd.
