The Russian Arctic. Mystery of Captain’s Diary

Let's talk about the development of the Arctic by man, about the most northern protected areas of Russia and play a game dedicated to the study of the Arctic.

We will tell you a story of one Soviet Arctic station, then we’ll talk about the construction of a modern polar station, see its photos and videos. We will read a letter from polar explorers, which was sent from the northernmost post office in the world. Let's talk about the Russian Arctic National Park, Wrangel Island and Taimyr Nature Reserves. We will learn about the life of polar bears, why they are disappearing, and what we can do to preserve nature.

We’ll find the ship's diary of the Russian Arctic explorer. Two teams will receive their own “ship” to set off on a journey following the researcher's diary. But to do this, you will have to compete for “barrels of fuel” and answer the quiz questions about the polar territories.
