We draw a microcosm

Let's open the world of microscopic creatures that live in and around us, and in the practical part we'll see how they look under a stereomicroscope.

We will talk about the microorganisms that inhabit our planet: ciliates, small crustaceans, worms, rotifers and tardigrades. We’ll learn about their life cycles, figure how they differ from other living beings, and what their role on Earth is. We will see what microorganisms live in Zaryadye pond and in the human body. 

Age: 7+
Children younger than the specified age are allowed on the program only when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket.

Duration: 45 minutes

Please note that all programs run in Russian only.

When returning ticket online less than two hours before the visit time specified in it, 50% of its full cost is to be refunded. After the beginning of the session, refund is not possible.

Artyom Kronshtadskyi
Genetic scientist, plant breeder, biotechnologist

Graduated from the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture of Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. Research area: "Genetics, breeding and biotechnology." Artyom holds a master's degree in the Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. Research interests: breeding, ecology, microbiology.

Kirill Golubev

Graduated with full honors from the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology of the Russian State Agrarian University — Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. Research areas: “Agribusiness” and “Genetics”. Continues hшы postgraduate studies at the Department of Biotechnology. Multiple participant and winner of all-Russian and international conferences in biology, author of scientific articles. Conducts research in the field of biotechnology, including bionanotechnology.

Research interests: biology, natural sciences, biotechnology.

Kirill knows how to tell children about complex scientific processes and spark research interest.
