Let's talk about animals that inhabited the planet in different time periods and find out why some species did not survive to our time. We will remember the ice ages – when they happened, what were their consequences, and analyze what events can lead to them. We will also study the types of ancient people – the representatives of the race Homo, we will see how they looked like and find out what made the ancient man go to upright posture and acquire speech. In conclusion, we will analyze what kind of mechanisms are responsible for our appearance, behavior, diseases and preferences. In the practical part, we will consider the fossils and 3D skull models of ancient people – Neanderthal, Cro-Magnon, Homo erectus, Australopithecus.Age: 13+
