Marsh Fern

(Thelypteris palustris)

This fern is one of many species with a discontinuous spread in nature: because of climatic changes, the plant disappeared from most of its former range and remains only in separated areas. In Central Siberia, the marsh fern is a plant relic of the pre-glacial period.
